The Magic of Follicle Stimulatung Hormone

Have you wondered what brought the changes in your body as you approach puberty? These changes are brought about by hormones which affect everything in you such as your growth and other physical development. One of these hormones is Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).

FSH which is one of the 6 hormones released in anterior pituitary gland targets ovaries in females and testes in males. It stimulates egg and sperm production. FSH is considered to be vital in normal puberty and fertility of female and spermatogenesis in male. Estrogen that has been released through the stimulation of FSH is responsible for breast development and pubic hair growth.

Do you hate monthly periods? Do you hate experiencing dysmonerrhoea? Do you hate being a girl because you have to bleed every month? I hope you don’t, because as they said God has a reason for everything.

During menstruation, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) increases in level and stimulates the growth and development of egg to prepare them for fertilization. Uterine lining is stimulated by the estrogen and progesterone that has been released through the stimulation of FSH.  We all know that we are formed when a sperm successfully fertilizes an egg. Thanks FSH I am here on Earth experiencing the LOVE of GOD. But unfortunately I don’t think puberty did work on my height.
